BitSummit 2025 - Indie dev conference in Japan

I went to BitSummit in Kyoto from the 18th to the 20th of July.

I took a chance and went based on a recommendation, not really knowing what to expect. I went by myself, barely knew anyone, but still felt completely welcomed and connected. It turned out to be one of the most inspiring experiences I’ve ever had, and now I feel like I have to go every year!

I could never have imagined, when I decided to start studying Game Programming and pursue a career in the video game industry, how many incredible friends I’d make along the way.

Being part of such an amazing and welcoming community has truly been life-changing.
